From The Interim Rector

One of the things I've learned in my years of being an Interim Rector in various parishes is that all ministry is interim ministry. Parishes and parishioners alike are always "in motion," going from one place to another both spiritually and practically speaking. While it can seem unsettling at times, this continuous movement is a healthy indication that we're alive! It's also a good sign that we haven't settled permanently into any one way of being, like fossils, even when it seems as if everything is "perfect" the way it is. We are in relationship with a dynamic God who is always inviting us on to the next step in exploring the mystery of that relationship.
If you're visiting us here at Trinity's website for the first time, chances are you're in transition, too. Perhaps you're looking for a new parish or perhaps you haven't had a parish for a long time and feel God nudging you to be an explorer again. Perhaps you've had a major change in your life and need a community to help process that change while you are looking for how God fits into all this. We here at Trinity are in transition, too, and we welcome you to explore with us as we walk in the way of Jesus. We look forward to sharing with you as we live out our core values of:
- inspiring worship in two locations and languages
- unconditional acceptance of all
- education for faith and life
- striving for justice in practical ways
Let us know how we can help you feel at home here.
Peace and blessings,
The Rev. Patricia ("Pat") Bird
